T.I. Says Rick Ross and Young Jeezy Clashed Due to “Ego” and “Pride”

What’s T.I.’s take on the reported scuffle between Rick Ross and Young Jeezy backstage at the BET Hip-Hop Awards in Atlanta on Saturday (September 29)?

Tip, a friend and collaborator to both the Snowman and Bawse, attributes the altercation to “ego” and “pride.”

“Men everywhere, we have huge egos and lots of pride,” the Atlanta rapper told Los Angeles’ KTLA Morning News yesterday (October 2). “I don’t know that particular incident personally, but most fights that I hear about, it’s about pride and ego. I can’t speak for every case. I don’t know much about this case.”

With various run-ins with the law and past beefs with rappers, Tip knows a thing or two about letting his temper get the best of him due to his ego.

T.I. is still prepping his upcoming album, Trouble Man, for a December 18 release.
