Ice T on President Obama: “No Weed Before The Next Debate Homie”

After President Obama’s showing in the first presidential debate with Republican candidate Mitt Romney, Ice-T took to Twitter with a few choice words for the Commander-in-Chief.

“Message to the President: “No weed before the next debate homie….” the rapper/actor tweeted on Friday (October 5).

Ice T’s sentiments were perhaps an extreme way of viewing Obama’s lackluster showing in the first debate, but he wasn’t the only mainstream figure to suggest the President was under the influence of marijuana.

Outspoken comedian and host of HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher took Obama to task after the debate.

“[Obama] sucked,” Maher said. “He looked tired, he had trouble getting his answers out. Looks like he took my million and spent it all on weed.”

President Obama will have a chance to redeem himself during the next Presidential debate, which will focus on foreign and domestic policy and air live on television October 16.—Mark Lelinwalla
