Lil Wayne’s Hilarious Deposition Footage Surfaces [Video]

Lil Wayne’s never been bashful about ridiculing journalists. It’s a reality that’s depicted in Quincy “QDIII” Jones’ 2009 documentary, The Carter. As previously reported, Weezy is suing the filmmaker—citing that he never gave him permission to use his music in the doc.

TMZ has just released three videos of Wayne’s deposition in the suit. The short clips show Wayne being interviewed by Jones’ attorney, Pete Ross.

The deposition gets off to a rocky start when Ross asks Wayne to confirm whether or not he granted Katie Couric an interview. “What’s his name?” Weezy asked after the lawyer offered that he hadn’t answered his question. “Pete Ross, that’s a stupid ass question. You just saw me on there giving the interview with her.” When asked to confirm his performance alongside Kanye West at the Virgin Mobile Music Fest, Wayne answers, “I don’t know, but I know I did perform at this bad ass bitch birthday party recently. She was crazy, stupid thick.” [Watch Lil Wayne Deposition, Pt.1 Here]

He tells Ross he doesn’t recall being arrested following a performance at New York’s Beacon Theater in 2007. The arrest is what led to Tunechi serving eight months in Rikers Island for gun possession two years later. He even claims not remembering serving time in jail and winning a Grammy for Best Rap Album. Ross also questions Wayne on his Yuma, AZ arrest. Towards the end of the clip, Wayne starts saying, “I don’t know” before Ross is even done asking his questions. [Watch Lil Wayne Deposition, Pt. 2 Here]

In the third clip, Wayne refuses to describe his image for Ross and things take a turn when the lawyer presses him. “You know he can’t save you, right?” Wayne offers, pointing to the judge. “That guy right there. He can’t save you n the real world just so you know.”Wayne denied that his comment was a threat. When asked about it later, he said he was talking to himself.
