Nipsey Hussle set the stage ablaze at Santos Party House in New York City last night (August 7) with special guests A$AP Rocky and the L.E.P. Bogus Boys.

Neighborhood Nip was locked in from the door, setting the tone early with song “Love,“ which helped bring an energy and focus to his performance early.

Engaging the fans with his smooth, laid-back Cali flow, Nipsey got it cracking by firing hot bars on the song, “Hussle In The House.“ “Big guns turn rivals into rosaries/Extended clips, I dont give a fuck who you suppose to be/ Straight off the block I sold dope to buy groceries/ Now, its rap money, no advance, its all royalties. “

The LA native performed many cuts off his mixtapes, The Marathon and The Marathon Continues.

The former XXL Freshman captivated the fans when he performed cult-classic cut, “I Don't Give A Fucc,” as the crowd mimicked the movement of the Left Coast representative. Nip had the crowd hanging onto his every word with “Keys To The City,“ as they shadowed Nipsey's movements and sung the words to the track.

Setting the tone before Hussle hit the stage were Chicago natives, The L.E.P. Bogus Boys. The gritty duo raised the intensity in the building with favorites, “Rap Shit,” and “Going In For The Kill.” In the midst of their set, Harlem native A$AP Rocky came out to show his love for the crew, waving to the crowd and riding along with the energized set by the Bogus Boys.

Tennessee native Dee Goodz was a shining star as well on the evening. The Nashville native showed poise and handled the crowd with ease throughout his set. Goodz exhibited a tight flow on tracks “Underground Queenz“ and “Super Duper Hard.”

But even with the opening punch, the night belonged to Nipsey. Hussle In the House...Santos Party House, that is!—Christian Mordi
