Lil Wayne may have no love for New York but, plenty of other people heart the Big Apple. Jay-Z and Alicia Keys' hometown ode has been reached five times platinum, according to Yahoo! Music's Chart Watch blog. "Empire State of Mind," the third single off Hov's 2009 Blueprint 3 album, reached the feat this week, selling more than 5 million digital copies, making it Hov's, as well as Alicia's, most successful single to date surpassing Rihanna's "Umbrella" featuring Jay-Z and Keys' "No One," respectively.

The single won "Best Rap/Sung Collaboration" and "Best Rap Song" at the 53rd Grammy Awards.
