Jay-Z helped to curate the lineup for the Made in America festival, which is set to take place in Philadelphia on September 1 and 2. And now he's teaming with some big names to capture the weekend on film.

According to the New York Post, a documentary on the festival is in the works. It will be produced by Hov, Steve Stoute and Brian Grazer (producer of 8 Mile), and directed by acclaimed director Ron Howard. “The festival showcases 20 pre-eminent artists that speak to the new generation," Grazer told Page Six. "I am producing the film with Steve Stoute and Jay. Ron is directing. It is going to be born through Jay-Z’s perspective...how he puts the event together. Jay stayed the king for a very long time...I can’t even begin to explain how he is capable of remaining relevant. He is a phenom, like a musical Michael Jordan.”

In addition to Jay-Z, the festival will feature Rick Ross, Drake, Wale, Meek Mill, Run-DMC, Odd Future, Jill Scott, D'Angelo and more.
