Idris Elba is a good actor poised for Hollywood superstardom. He’s also a capable DJ who’s produced on Jay-Z’s American Gangster. What Idris Elba is not, is a rapper. A few years back, King Dris—his rap moniker—linked up with producer 9th Wonder for a confusingly awkward faux dancehall-influenced number titled, “Hold On.” It wasn’t good.
