Chris Tucker Doubts He’ll Do Another Friday Film

Last month, Ice Cube confirmed that the final installment of the Friday movie series, tentatively titled Last Friday, was in the works. Now, however, it looks like if the film does come to fruition, it's not likely to feature Chris Tucker's beloved character, Smokey. During an interview with Tom Joyner, Tucker acknowledged the production of the film has begun but opened up about his ambivalence to be a part of it.

"I don't know," admitted Tucker. "I talked to Ice Cube because it's such a big rumor and people get mad if you say you ain’t doing something, so I’m real careful. They're workin' on a script. I don't think it'll be as special as the first one." Tucker said he would wait to see how the script came back but reiterated his ambivalence before moving on, saying "We'll see what happens, but I doubt it that I'll do another Friday."
