Philadelphia is known as ‘The City of Brotherly Love.’ Well, not all the time.

Cassidy seems to be feeling a way about Meek Mill’s success. Last night (July 12) on Twitter, Cassidy began retweeting a series of fans’ questionable comments about his fellow Philly rhyme slinger.

“How come when @MeekMill got put on mmg he aint do nothing wit @CASSIDY_LARSINY? They my two favorite rappers,” Cassidy retweeted a fans’ comment, saying.

Meek didn’t take that tweet’s implication well and let it be known with a tweet of his own, directed at Cass.

“Just say it 2 my face… I’m always home… Y’all b getting beside y’all self with this send button don’t confuse this twitter wit real life… #hating.”

The MMG spitter since deleted those comments, but seemed to address Cass Da Hustla subliminally with a tweet in the wee hours of Friday morning (July 13).

“When u eating everyday a nigga gone have a problem wit ya!,” Meek exclaimed. “It’s a shame…get money and stop hating!”

“Everyday I wake up somebody got a problem wit meek!” he added.

The young rhyme slinger isn’t too far off with his latter statement. His name was thrown into the mix for allegedly breaking a bottle on a Chris Brown during the R&B singer’s New York City club brawl with Drake last month. (Meek vehemently denied being involved in the nasty incident to XXLMag.com).

Just earlier this week, Meek called into Philadelphia's The Q Deezy Show to address Philly Reverend Jomo K. Johnson, who called for a boycott of Meek’s music after hearing his track “Amen.” The two had a live on-air debate.

Some feel like Cassidy simply retweeted the questionable fan tweet to bait Meek Mill. That's because Cass recently dropped his Mayhem Music mixtape, the third installment of his Apply Pressure street offerings.
