Now, this is living.

According to the New York Post, Jay-Z and Beyoncé, along with their baby daughter Blue Ivy, will be renting a 31,000-square foot mansion—known as the Sandcastle—in the Bridgehampton section of New York’s Hamptons for the entire month of August. The cost? A cool $400,000.

The massive estate includes a full bar, bowling alley, virtual golf course, skateboard half-pipe, rock climbing wall and a recording studio, one that rap fans hope Hov will be making use out of.

Other amenities of the Sandcastle include a 60-foot heated pool with an underwater stereo system (why not?), tennis court, spa with gym, basketball court, moving walls and eight-car garage.

The Post reports that the 11-acre property on Halsey Lane was built by Hamptons super-developer Joe Farrell. Its current market price is listed at a whopping $43.5 million.

Whether Hov could use the month of August for some rest and relaxation, though, remains to be seen. Today (July 30), he used his website, LifeandTimes.com, to announce that he'll be executive-producing the video game NBA 2K13, which is slated for an October 2 release. He’s curating the upcoming Budweiser Made In America festival to be held during Labor Day Weekend, September 1 and 2, in Philadelphia.

Jay talked about curating the festival during a special press conference from the famous Rocky steps of the Philadelphia Museum back in May.

“Everybody knows my love affair with Philly from the great artists I’ve signed from here,” Jay-Z told the crowd. “Whenever I enter into a project I try to hit some touch points. Is it great? Is it going to push the culture forward?”

“It’s going to be a great day in Philly,” he added. “And that’s pretty much a spiel.”—Jakinder Singh
