Did LeBron James spill the beans about Jay-Z working on new material?

The King might have done just that during a recent interview, when the Finals MVP of the newly-crowned NBA champion Miami Heat hinted to MTV News that he recently heard some of Hov’s new music.

“Anytime I’m around Jay, he always plays me some new stuff,” King James told MTV. “You know Jay, he’s really passionate about his music and when he’s ready to let the world hear it, he’ll let you guys hear it.”

James’ revealing comments come on top of what Pharrell had to say earlier in the month at the 25th Annual ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Music Awards.

When asked about working with the Roc Nation mogul, Skateboard P would only told Rap-Up, “I’m sworn to secrecy.”

Of course, Hov has enjoyed a tidal wave of success via album sales and world tours on the strength of Watch the Throne, the mega joint album he dropped with Kanye West last year. Could he be on to the next one?
