2 Chainz to Embark on First National Solo Tour

2 Chainz is ready to solidify his solo star.

Following the release of his solo debut album, Based On A T.R.U. Story in mid-August, the Atlanta rapper will be embarking on his first solo national tour. The eight-city tour will begin in near the end of that month and run through September, and will make stops everywhere from Virginia to Chicago to Austin.

“One of the things I enjoy the most about being an artist is the opportunity to get on the stage and give the fans everything they deserve,” 2 Chainz said in a press release. “Everything they’ve come to expect from me. I’ve performed along side some of the best in this business, but this time will be something special. This time it’s all me.”

The dreaded rapper is fresh off of the Club Paradise Tour alongside Drake, J. Cole, Meek Mill and others, and is and currently tagging along with his “Beez In The Trap” collaborator Nicki Minaj’s Roman Reloaded Tour.

Yesterday, he followed up his smash lead single “No Lie,” featuring Drake, with the Kanye West-assisted “Birthday Song.” (Listen here)

    fuck whoever wrote this.

Seems like whoever wrote this article is either A- purposely pigeon-holeing Lupe, or B- not very knowledgable on the subject matter he is writing on or not very smart. XXL is painting Lupe as a grumpy old man or a hater, not putting any thought that perhaps there are reasons for why he “dislikes” these particular items. Israel – for treatment of Palestinians(i.e. keeping them in designated areas enforced by military[they of all people should see the appalling irony in that], along with too many other points). Atlantic – xxl dismisses this with “what did you expect”, of course, “what did you expect” from a magazine so dedicated to the status quo of radio garbage infesting the hip-hop scene today. Obama – “classifying Pres. Obama as a terrorist is negigent,” almost as negligent as that statement, if you are going to write concerning politics, you should know a little about politics before you write, consider the fact Obama has allowed himself to be able to carry out drone strikes on American citizens, has kept the patriot act, has kept Gitmo open, despite promising to close it, just for starters. Terrorist? Look up the definition please, it doesn’t just mean ‘turban guy with bomb’. Other Rappers – it seems the question Lupe was asked was referring to the future, not the past. It doesn’t seem like Lupe said that those things never happened, I could be wrong though. Thats the thing about hypothetical questions xxl, they take into account desire, and suspend reality, you know, kind of like you guys did in this hit piece on Lupe. Lasers – “record company people are shady” just the way you guys like it right? No? Oh my bad I was just going by the information which gets the most attention from your magazine, I’m sure you’ve got to have an article exposing the shadiness of the industry somewhere hidden in the crease of an obscure page in the back of the mag, my mistake.

thanks guys I never thought that I wouldn’t have to say much. Its appealing to see many people can say their minds with insight into issues more complicated than the eyes can see. The US government’s shadiness on most of the issues it stands for can be simply understood by looking at the President’s smiles. Experience coupled with deep knowledge lets you see the hypocrisy in governments today. Watch the TV and you’re already a gov. drone.
