Kim Kardashian Tells Oprah Relationship With Kanye West is Not a Publicity Stunt
For anybody thinking that the relationship between Kanye West and Kim Kardashian is a publicity stunt, then think again.
“I couldn’t sacrifice my heart for a publicity stunt,” Kim K. told Oprah Sunday night (June 24) during part two of the Kardashian family segment on Oprah’s Next Chapter.
As the segment went on, Kardashian revealed just how she surprised Yeezy with a $750,000 Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 for his birthday recently.
“He was in Ireland, so I flew in for his birthday. And I flip-cammed a cute message with him walking out to the car. And then I wrapped the flip-cam and I gave it to him, so he thought he was getting a flip-cam for his birthday and I was like ‘no, no, no….press play’ and it just said ‘the car will be waiting for you when you get home.’”
Other highlights of the interview, including Kim K. shutting down rumors of the two already moving in together and thinking marriage.
“I’m not thinking about marriage,” she continued. “To have [Kayne] in my life this way says a lot about us.”
During part one of their interview last week, Kardashian told Oprah the origins of her and Kanye’s friendship.
“We met maybe almost a decade ago, I’ve known him for a really long time, we’ve been friends for like six or seven years, so it’s very comforting to have someone that knows everything about you that respects you, understands, has gone through similar things,” she said in last week’s episode. “I can really relate to his mother passing, he can really relate to my father passing. I mean, there’s so many similarities in our life that I feel like I’m at a really happy, good space. I don’t know why it took so long for us to kind of get together. But I think I needed to go through all my experiences and some that he’s gone through.”
