Kanye West’s Los Angeles home was hit by burglars on Wednesday (June 13), law enforcement sources are telling TMZ.

The celebrity news site is reporting that someone from ’Ye’s camp, who was inside of Yeezy’s home at the time, called the Los Angeles Police Department this morning to report the break-in. Of course, Kanye is halfway across the world, currently in Birmingham, England, in the middle of the European leg of the Watch the Throne tour with Jay-Z.

As of press time, there isn’t any information regarding items of Kanye’s that were taken, but people present at the scene told TMZ that the thieves dropped some of Kanye’s possessions and evidence on the way out.

The LAPD is still investigating the case.

"Hollywood officers had responded to a burglary investigation at a residences of the 7800 block of Fairholm Drive in the wee hours of the morning," LAPD spokesman Richard French told XXL. "The resident was not home at that time. It did appear that some property had been taken. I don't know what was taken and we don't have suspect information either. It's an ongoing investigation."

The news comes just a few days since Kanye’s 35th birthday (Friday, June 8) and the second big event to occur in his life, while he wasn’t home. That’s because, according to a report also from TMZ, his girlfriend, Kim Kardashian, bought him a $750,000 Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4. Lamborghini refers to the supercharged vehicle as a “courageous specimen” on its website and Aventador was a bull bred in Spain that entered battle and earned a trophy.

This past weekend also seen Kanye’s Air Yeezy 2 sneakers (Made by Nike) go on sale Saturday (June 9) for a retail price of $245. The Los Angeles Times reports that only 3,000 to 5,000 pairs would be released. One person, however, allegedly dropped $90,300 on one pair via eBay.—Mark Lelinwalla
