Drake entered his New York show at Jones Beach Theater on Saturday night (June 16) with conflicting reports that police would either arrest him or not arrest him due to his involvement with the Chris Brown fight earlier in the week hovering over his head.

Turns out, Drizzy was able to perform his entire show, as part of his Club Paradise Tour, without a single hitch.

And the Young Money superstar didn’t waste any time seemingly addressing Wednesday night’s wild melee at NYC’s W.i.P nightclub, which seen five people get injured, including Brown and his security guard, Big Pat, each suffering nasty gashes and NBA star Tony Parker suffering an eye injury due to shards of glass from the immense bottle throwing.

“When I wake up this morning, I had to think about a lot of things,” Drake said onstage to a jam-packed crowd, as reported by the New York Daily News. “But the only thing I gave a fuck about was that I was in New York City tonight.”

According to reports, during the scuffle between the entourages of Drake, Brown and Meek, Meek hit Breezy with a bottle, although it’s hard to make that out with the frenzied video footage that released.

By the next day, police had confirmed with XXLMag.com that Brown had given his account about the fracas to police on Thursday (June 14).

But any report of Drake being arrested turned out to be false.

“You don’t make an appointment to get arrested,” a police source told the Daily News. “If we were going to arrest him, we’d go out and get him.

There still haven’t been any arrests from the wild incident at W.i.P., which was subsequently shut down due to numerous violations.

The core of the friction between Drake and Brown seems to be Rihanna, who notoriously dated Breezy and has been linked to having on and off relations with Drizzy before. Most recently, Meek Mill was rumored to have a fling with the song siren.
