On an already-crammed Friday evening in New York’s epicenter, a phalanx of Minaj diehards and excited tourists patiently-waited until 7:30 p.m. ET to see the reigning queen of hip-hop.

Draped in a black lace mini dress accented by zebra-striped leggings, the curvaceous MC swirled her blonde wig across the stage opening the performance with her current hit “Starships.”

That was quickly followed by a non-Chris-Brown-assisted “Right By My Side,” which still had the fans excited in unison. Minaj wrapped up her mini showcase with the ever-so popular “Super Bass,” sparking a legion of Barbies from the crowd to the VIP lounge shaking and twirling, not seeming to mind the brief set, proving that while Minaj’s offering in the heart of Times Square was compact, it was certainly impact full. —Jaeki Cho
