Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose Engaged

Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose are ready to tie the knot.

Early Thursday (March 1), Wiz tweeted a picture of a woman's hand (presumably Amber's) rocking a large diamond ring [see below], with the words "She Said Yes!!!" The rap star then accepted congratulator wishes from countless people on Twitter, including his 2010 XXL Freshman classmates Pill and Fashawn, Russell Simmons, producer and frequent collaborator E. Dan of I.D. Labs and Rostrum Records' Arthur Pitt.

"He has made me the Happiest Woman in the World!!!!" the bride-to-be wrote on her account just minutes after her mate's initial tweet.

The announcement shouldn't come as too much of a surprise, as the two discussed the possibility at the Grammy Awards in February. "We're not engaged," Amber told E! News at the time. "Not yet. We want to get married. We're just taking our time. Whenever he wants to propose, that's when it will happen. He's just the sweetest guy. He's very normal. He didn't let the fame and everything get to him."

At the time, the Atlantic Records rhymer let on that such a proposal would happen "soon."

Rumors of the relationship between Wiz and Amber began in late 2010/early 2011, and the couple soon confirmed their status and went on to appear at multiple events, award shows, and concerts together.

Wiz will be dropping his new mixtape, Taylor Allderdice (which features a hook from Amber), on March 13. —Adam Fleischer
