UPDATE: Young Buck Drive-By Shooting Still Under Investigation

Last Sunday’s (March 4) drive-by shooting that left Young Buck’s SUV riddled with 11 bullets and his girlfriend wounded in the arm in Nashville is still under investigation.

“The investigation is still ongoing,” a rep for the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department’s Office of Public Affairs confirmed with XXLMag.com.

The Tennessean originally reported that in the early morning of Sunday, March 4, Buck and his girlfriend, Kenyetta Rainey, 32, were involved in a heated argument outside of South Nashville’s, La Bamba nightclub. They were then the targets of a drive-by shooting, as shots were fired from a white Chevy Tahoe at Buck’s Cadillac Escalade at approximately 3 a.m. on the I-24 near the Shelby Avenue exit. One of the 11 bullets grazed Rainey on the shoulder. Buck then drove her to the Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she was treated and released. Buck, real name David Brown, nor a second man riding in the Escalade were injured in the shooting.

After a couple of days of silence, Buck took to his Twitter to address the situation. “We all go through things in life,” the former G-Unit star tweeted. “The things I’m experiencing are Truly making me a Better and Stronger man. #GodisGood.”

This serves as another bump in the road for the troubled MC, who filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in January 2011, in hopes of reorganizing his finances and holding off his debts. However, a trustee assigned to the case said that the reorganization was not viable and deemed later in the year that Buck was facing Chapter 7, which includes the liquidation of his assets.

Once my man BUCK can get from under the contract with 50 hating azz who know Buck and Game was the only two artist with talent on G;Unit roster , once Buck get free its ON !

All this tells me is Buck is still heavy in the streets. It obviously wasn’t his time though. I’ve been fucking with Buck since “Straight Outta Cashville” so I hope he eventually gets his paper work right and he can get back to putting out music. He’s actually one of the few artists in today’s rap climate with talent. Back when street cred actually mattered this incident would’ve pushed his popularity through the roof lol. Niggaz don’t pull drive by’s on you for nothing.

Thats funny shit right there when you say he and Game was the only one with talent in G Unit. People quickly forget how Banks is one of the slickest spitters in the Unit and 50 had two very well received cds and countless guest verses during his height of fame in Shady back then. The only weak link in the whole crew was Yayo, and all the dudes who didnt drop albums who were signed to G unit..

Actually when 50 and g-unit were hot, Fif never really collabo’d with anyone that wasn’t shady/aftermath/g-unit or affiliated with those labels and artists such as snoop. It’s recent that he’s aking guest appearances with Gucci Mane, E-40, YG, Jeremiah, etc to try to be more relevant to todays crowd.

Yeah thats exactly what I was sayin, but when he was hot he had several guest verse spots on songs that were really good. People act like the dude has sucked all along. 50 just lost his hunger and drive and his consistency. 50 buck though very good fell off because of 50′s shady dealings with his contract.

When 50 was hot he was hot regardless of what people think about him as a person.
