Best Buy and Target are back to selling Tyga’s album, Careless World: Rise of the Last King.

After Carolyn Aberman, Best Buy’s Public Relations Senior Manager, confirmed with XXLMag.com that Tyga’s album has been re-shelved in stores last Thursday (March 1), XXLMag.com has learned that Target too has re-shelved the LP.

“Target can confirm that we’ve removed the original version of Tyga’s new album, Careless World, from all Target stores and Target.com,” said Target rep Courtney Foster in a recent statement sent to XXLMag.com. “We have ordered the new version of his album and are currently stocking this new version in our stores nationwide and on Target.com.”

This news could spell a boost in sales for the YMCMB rapper. Both Best Buy and Target, two of the nation’s largest retailers, pulled the album from their respective shelves after YMCMB failed to clear a sample of Martin Luther King’s “I Have A Dream” speech included on the LP. That drew the ire of the MLK estate, forcing Best Buy and Target to make a move.

Still, Careless World sold 61,000 copies (83% digitally) first week and debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart, despite the recall. Now, with the album being sold in Best Buy and Target again, perhaps the numbers could receive a jolt.

Careless World includes singles such as “Far Away,” “Rack City” and “Faded,” the latter which features Lil Wayne. “Kings & Queens” features Nas and Wale.
