Iggy Azalea Says T.I. Might Executive Produce Debut Album

Iggy Azalea has caught the ears of many hip-hop fans. One of them is T.I.

The Australia-born MC and newest signee of Interscope Records recently told XXL that Tip had reached out to her in hopes of guiding her with her debut album, The New Classic. The leggy femcee says T.I. might even be executive producing the project.

“I’m just trying to get a feel with him and find a vibe and magic with this project,” Iggy told XXL about working with T.I. “He’s like, ‘I have so many sounds I hear in you that I can’t do anything with. Maybe they’ll be useful to you.’ I appreciate that and him trying to help rookie people in the game like me, so I really fuck with him. He’s dope!

“The best projects, to me, seem to have a consistent production to them throughout them,” Iggy continued. “I really want to find that one sound that’s going to tie them together.”

Iggy’s album is slated to drop later this year. —Mark Lelinwalla

real hip hop never went anywhere
there has always been rappers keeping it real talking about their real lives and writing their own raps
    exposure doesnt equal existence
real hip hop will always find a loyal following
i miss outkast too andre 3000 n big boi have to work out their issues first
doing their own thing worked with the love below/speakerbox
cuz it showcased their own individual styles
whereas previously they had rapped together all the time
they proved they could b just as successful riding solo
but i think if they get back together they can bring back the magic of their previous collaborations
