Diddy Wins Oscar for Best Documentary for Undefeated

Diddy missed the NBA All-Star game on Sunday (February 26) to attend the Oscars and it paid off. The music mogul walked away with an Academy Award for Best Documentary for his Undefeated flick, which he executive produced.

The snag makes Diddy the third hip-hop artist to win an Academy Award, after Eminem and Three 6 Mafia.

In related news, Diddy’s ex Jennifer Lopez and rumored current fling Cameron Diaz presented the Academy Award for Best Costume Design and Best Makeup Oscars, and while onstage together it appeared the former had a wardrobe malfunction as her left nipple seemed to slip out of her form-hugging gown.

The internet buzzed with the controversy during the show with one Tweeter going as far as starting a Twitter page called @JLosNipple and writing, “DID YOU SEE ME?” —Gina Montana

    From Oscars.org:
Rule Twelve: Special Rules for the Documentary Awards
“Production companies or persons with the screen credit of executive producer, co-producer or any credit other than director or producer shall not be eligible as nominees for the motion picture.”

Mr. Combs did NOT win the Oscar.
(That’s why he was not on stage during the acceptance speech.)

Still an impressive win, and it probably qualifies him for an asterisk on Wikipedia’s EGOT page, once he gains the others. Currently, he only has the “G”.
