Drake will head back to his stomping grounds this weekend as he has been tapped to perform at the NHL All-Star game in Ottawa, Ontario on Sunday (January 29). According to Billboard.biz, the Canadian spitter will be joined by New York MC Outasight and The Voice winner Javier Colon at the hockey event at Scotiabank Place.

Drake is set to perform during the second intermission, while Outasight will perform his hit single, "Tonight is the Night," during the player introductions. Colon is slated to handle the U.S. national anthem while longtime Ottowa Senators anthem singer Lyndon Slewidge will sing the Canadian version.

Drake's NHL All-Star game performance will come one week after the rapper hit up the Sundance Film Festival for a special performance in Park City, Utah.

Drake's hometown Toronto Maple Leafs has three players representing the team in this year's All-Star game: Phil Kessel, Joffrey Lupul and Dion Phaneuf. Live television coverage of the game will air on CBC and RDS in Canada and the NBC Sports Network in the United States at 4 p.m. ET. —Gina Montana
