Donatella Versace Recalls The Notorious B.I.G.’s Influence

The Notorious B.I.G.'s infatuation with the high fashion line, Versace, is well noted. During an interview done by Nicki Minaj for Interview Magazine's December/January issue, designer and Vice President Donatella Versace spoke on the iconic rapper's love for the brand.

"I think Biggie was amazing. He came to my shows in Paris many times, and we’d see each other often," she recalled. "I loved what he was doing and how he was giving people a way to know about Versace."

The famous designer also admitted B.I.G.'s influence on the brand's popularity, "I do think he was giving people a way to know about Versace—I do think a lot of people started to know about Versace because of him." —Ralph Bristout
