Last night (October 20) NY heavyweight MC and XXL cover star, Nas, celebrated the release of the  November issue with a special performance at Webster Hall in Downtown Manhattan— bringing out a few surprise guests as well.

Around 1:30AM in the jam-packed Hall, the legendary Queens lyricist—sporting all black attire, signature Gold-accentuated Jesus piece, and dark shades—graced the stage to a blaring ovation. "New York City!," he exclaimed before jumping into the anthemic "Hate Me Now."

"Shoutout to XXL, they some real n***as," the QB native bellowed, "Hip-Hop is a people...Hip-hop is worldwide!"

From there, the instrumental to "Life's a Bitch" echoed throughout the multi-leveled venue with AZ making an appearance, delivering his classic verse. It didn't stop there, however, the lyrical duo performed the crowd favorite, "Phone Tap."

When it seemed like it couldn't get anymore exciting, the Bravehearts general brought out Common to rile up the crowd with a bevy of tracks including the Chicago MC's classic song, "I Used to Love H.E.R. and their recent collabo "Ghetto Dreams." Pulling more tricks out his bag, he then welcomed Mos Def, who represented with "Ms. Fat Booty" and Maino to perform "Hi Hater."

To close out the amazing night, Nas signed off with the rocking crowd-pleaser, "Made You Look."
