Flo Rida Runs Into Trouble in Australia

Over in Australia, Flo Rida was nowhere to be found at a couple of shows while his personal assistant Dakari Dalawn Phillips found himself in trouble with police.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Flo failed to make appearances at two of his scheduled shows, including the Fat as Butter festival, in the far away continent. The Miami rapper called off the festival performance mere hours before he was due to hit the stage. What’s more, he made it to the site of his next show but was not allowed to perform because he was more than two hours late and was deemed not in “suitable condition” to perform by the club owner.

Flo Rida’s assistant Phillips fared even worse. During one of the shows Flo actually made it to and was still on stage, police found marijuana and an Uzi taser after raiding the hotel. Phillips will now face drug and weapons charges. —Christopher Minaya
