Sean “Diddy” Combs loves the kids. The Harlem born hip-hop mogul recently presented his hometown Boys and Girls Club with a considerable contribution that helped to save the dying organization.

The timing of the Bad Boy’s founder’s contribution was received at the perfect moment, seeing that the Club’s budget for operations has been pressed because of changes to federal, state and private funding.

“Mr. Combs' contribution comes at a time when we were faced with the possibility of eliminating existing programs and/or club sites,” Boys and Girls Club of Harlem board member, Willie C. Bentley, Jr. said in a statement. “100% of Mr. Combs' contribution will go directly to the young people, and provide educational, recreational and social enrichment programs allowing us to move forward as a club, uninterrupted."

“Take that. Take that.”—Christopher Minaya
