Tim Dog Pleads Guilty to Grand Larceny

Old-school rapper Tim Dog is in hot water for a scheme leaving a woman in credit card debt for $32,000.

According to the Associated Press, the Bronx -bred MC—who made a name for himself in the early 1990s with his blistering diss track, “Fuck Compton”—recently plead guilty to grand larceny in a Mississippi courtroom. He admitted to tricking Ester Pilgrim, a woman that he met online back in 2007, into giving him money to help resuscitate his rap career.

Under the terms of his plea deal, he will have to pay $19,000 in restitution to Pilgrim, and be on probation for the next five years. He will not have to serve any jail time.

As of press time, Tim Dog has yet to comment on the case. —Elan Mancini
