J. Cole Announces $1 Concert in NYC, Album Signing

J. Cole is gearing up for the release of his debut album, Cole World: The Sideline Story, next week, and in a gift to his fans, the Roc Nation signee will be performing in New York City this Sunday, September 25 for the entry fee of merely $1.

Appropriately titled the A Dollar and A Dream concert, tickets for the Hot 97-sponsored show will be available starting today at 5 p.m. EST at three Jimmy Jazz locations throughout NY. In Harlem fans can visit 132 W. 125th Street and 239 West 125th Street and in Brooklyn at 442 Fulton Street. Starting at 12 noon on Sunday, tickets will also be available at the Roseland Ballroom box office, where the show will take place the same day at 7 p.m..

In addition to the concert, J&R Music World will host the official New York signing for J. Coles’s album on the day of its release on Tuesday, September 27 at 6 p.m. In order to meet the former XXL Freshmen, fans will have to pre-order the disc at the store. —Christian Mordi

    This was a sham!
    Tickets were supposed to go on sale 5 p.m. & I when I went to Jimmy Jazz @ 4:30 p.m. they said they sold out that morning.
    I know they pocketed those tickets to scalp them or sold them for more than a dollar.
