Swizz Beatz has been making quite a name for himself lately outside of studio.
In the last two years he adopted an arts school in his hometown of the Bronx, he was named producer in residence at New York University, he starred in a commercial for Aston Martin, he designed a shoe line for Louboutin and watches for Audemars Piguet, was appointed creative director at Reebok Classics, and on Monday (August 15), British automotive company, Lotus, anointed him as vice president of creative design and global marketing, according to autoguide.com.
“Like Group Lotus, he means business: He’s a risk taker with considerable credentials, including music producer, rapper, designer and painter,” a rep for Lotus said in a statement. “(He’s) the perfect man to add to the Lotus lineup.”
