A few weeks back, the guest stars for Drake’s forthcoming sophomore album, Take Care, were revealed, but one of the biggest names on the project remained a secret, until now. Over the weekend, Drizzy broke the news that music legend Stevie Wonder would not only be appearing on the disc, but played a big role in shaping it.

During an interview with Canadian cable network Much Music at his second annual OVO Festival in Toronto yesterday (July 31), the Young Money star said that Wonder was heavily involved in the project.

“He helped me out with a lot of the music,” Drake said, “just came and sat with me, listened to my music, told me where I could add a couple things to make it more sonically appealing, and not only that but we actually are writing together, which is an incredible experience.”

“Not only that, but he was supposed to do two songs and he did like six,” Drake added. “It was incredible.”

Wonder also made an appearance onstage at the OVO Fest, but he wasn’t the only surprise guest. Lil Wayne, Nas and J. Cole also showed up along with Rick Ross and The Weeknd, who were already on the bill.
