Due to the terms of his probation, Lil Wayne’s new tour has a zero-tolerance policy on alcohol backstage, according to TMZ.

Wayne’s I Am Still Music Tour has a “dry backstage as we are committed to keeping a safe and professional atmosphere to ensure a smoothly running tour," a representative said.

Wayne cannot drink alcohol due to the terms of his probation, stemming from his 2008 drug arrest in Arizona. As previously reported, a judge ordered him to stay sober until 2013, instead of giving him jail time. As a result, even Wayne’s personal bus is 100% alcohol free, TMZ writes.

However, according to the rep, the no-alcohol policy is only backstage, so audiences can still be served alcohol at the venues.

Wayne—who covers XXL’s July/August 2011 issue which is on stands now—is currently prepping the release of his long-awaited album, Tha Carter IV for August 29. His next tour stop is Wednesday, July 20 in Saratoga Performing Arts Center, in Saratoga Springs, NY. —Martin Spasov
