Eminem Settles Lawsuit With Audi

You don’t wanna mess with Shady, cuz shady will sue you.

According to the Detroit Free Press, Eminem has settled his lawsuit with German automaker Audi. Em alleged that the luxury auto company ripped off his Chrysler 300 Super Bowl commercial.

The commercial in question only aired in Europe but looked strikingly similar to the Chrysler ad…a little too similar for Shady’s taste. According to the lawsuit filed the spot featured a “Lose Yourself” sound alike with a man driving down in urban setting.

Financial terms of the settlement are undisclosed at the moment. However, as part of the settlement Audi will have to donate to Imported from Detroit and other unnamed charities through out Detroit to help revitalize the city.

“Just like Imported From Detroit helped benefit charities like the Marshall Mathers Foundation, we as Eminem’s publisher can give back to Detroit”, said Joel Martin the man that over see’s Eminem’s publishing. ”We’re looking forward to working with Chrysler on several new Imported From Detroit initiatives that will benefit the city of Detroit as well as charities within the city.”—Mike Hennix
