Rapper Flo Rida was arrested early this morning (June 9) for driving under the influence in Miami Beach. The 31-year-old “Low” spitter, born Tramar Dilliard, was spotted swerving in his 2008 Bugatti around 3:30AM and was consequently pulled over by police.
According to TMZ, cops detected the smell of alcohol during the stop and gave Flo a field sobriety “walk the line” test, at which point he admitted to the officials he “had a few drinks” and couldn’t “walk a straight line,” requesting they “try another test.” After determining his alcohol level was .185 (more than twice the legal limit), Flo Rida was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
The entertainment site also reports that a crowd gathered around after Flo was pulled over, asking the cops to let him go and even offering to drive him home. The “Right Round” rapper also tried to convince the officers that he could drive himself home, but the cops ran a computer check on him, learning his driver’s license had been suspended last month for failing to pay a traffic fine.
