While overseas supporting wife Beyonce on her promotional tour for her upcoming album, 4, Jay-Z has apparently used his free time wisely, meeting with some of London’s music industry finest, including pop starlet Adele.

According to The Sun, Jay and Adele, the latter who has recently been a staple of the top of the Billboard charts with her latest effort, 21, met for lunch to discuss collaborating on music in the near future.

“It’s not often [Jay-Z] is overwhelmed by people when he meets then, but Adele was on top form as usual,” a source told the newspaper. “He's keen to work with her, whether it's producing or writing together. She was a huge hit in the States and he believes they could make a massive record together.”

The anonymous source also told The Sun that Adele gave Jay advice on the acts to catch while at Glastonbury, including Paolo Nutini, who she dubbed the “must-see act of the festival.” Gina Montana
