Ja Rule Shoots Three Videos, Plans To Write Book in Jail

Ja Rule’s latest project, “Pain is Love 2,” has been pushed back since its original June 7th release date, but for good reason.

The rapper, who is set to begin his two-year jail stint tomorrow (June 7), told TMZ recently that he’s not only putting the finishing touches to his album, he’s also shot three videos for it. Ja also told the cameras that while he’s in jail, he plans to use his time wisely by writing a book and hopefully getting his GED.

In addition, the Queens native hopes to learn how to play an instrument while serving time for weapons possession.—XXL Staff

Ja Rule’s new music is very intelligent stuff. He has clearly matured a lot since 2003 days on Murder Inc. It is good to see a black man setting a good example. Why isn’t he on the cover of your magazine – this is a great story for other young black men in America.

Cause he is going to jail for two years genious. How is his story good for “Black American”.
