The Notorious B.I.G. may no longer be with us, but his brand will continue to live on.

It was recently announced that Notorious BIG, LLC, the estate of Biggie Smalls has partnered with licensing firm Brand Sense Partners to manage licensing and merchandising for the Brooklyn native’s name and likeness.

“The family and I are excited to move forward with the exceptional team at bsp,” said Wayne Barrow, Wallace’s former manager and current advisor to Big's mother, Voletta Wallace. “Their understanding of Christopher’s cultural impact, as well as their vision for our brand mission made them the best partner possible for the task. We look forward to working hand in hand with them to build on Christopher’s unique legacy.”

The Wallace program will be managed by BSP’s Theresa Brown, a celebrity licensing expert who has represented such estates as Albert Einstein, Marlon Brando, and Jimi Hendrix. —Nicole LoPresti
