Eminem was the big winner during last night's (May 22) Billboard Awards at Las Vegas' MGM Grand Garden Arena.

With six statues to add to his mantle, the Detroit lyricist lead all artists (except Justin Beiber, with whom he tied) with the most trophies of the night. This came as no surprise, as the hip-hop superstar was nominated 17 times.

Earning honors for Top Artist, Top Male Artist, Top Rap Artist, Top Billboard 200 Album for Recovery, Top Rap Album and Top Rap Song for his Rihanna-assisted hit, "Love The Way You Lie,"  Em clearly dominated the gala.

Performance wise, Snoop took the stage during the award show, assisting Far East Movement on their single “If I Was You (OMG).” Lil Wayne assisted Mary J. Blige as she performed "Someone to Love Me (Naked)" from her upcoming record, My Life II: The Journey Continues.

The forty-six award categories were based on measures provided by Billboard's data partners including sales data from Nielsen SoundScan, radio airplay monitored by Nielsen BDS, streaming data measured by Tubemogul and Nielsen BDS, social media consumption gauged by Next Big Sound and tour grosses tracked by Billboard Boxscore.
