Reports have been circulating on the 'net that Lil Wayne has been forced to cancel a string of European dates for his I Am Still Music Tour following the denial of his U.K. visa application. But those reports are untrue, says a rep for Weezy's trek.

“No visa was ever filed, nor were there any tour dates announced, or tickets sold," a rep for the tour told XXLMag.com exclusively. "Lil Wayne is currently headlining his I Am Still Music Tour across the U.S. and Canada with plans to extend the tour this summer. We hope to bring the I Am Still Music Tour to the UK in the later half of the year.”

Rollingstone.com, as well as other music news sites, ran with the story that Weezy’s visa was rejected by the U.K. Border Agency for his criminal record, which includes a number of weapons and drug charges.

The North American leg of Weezy's tour—which also features Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj, Travis Barker and Mix Master Mike—is set to hit Greensboro Coliseum Complex in North Carolina tonight. —Mariel Concepcion
