Kanye to Release Line of Scarves

Kanye West will transform from fashion connoisseur to fashion designer with his latest venture.

According to nowness.com, the Louis Vuitton Don is set to release a line of silk scarves inspired by the artwork from his latest release, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

West will collaborate with Paris design duo M/M, who designed the liner notes for MBDTF.

Reportedly, the scarves – out this spring in a limited edition run of 250 scarves at Colette and mmparis.com – will combine elements of the liner notes with cover images created by artist George Condo.

M/M designers Mathias Augustyniak and Michael Amzalag called the collaboration a “complex exploration of power.” Their previous experience includes extensive work with experimental singer-songwriter Bjork. —Lauren Carter
