Embattled rapper Gucci Mane will plead not guilty to charges that he pushed a woman out of his Hummer in January, according to the Washington Post.

Gucci Mane’s lawyer, Ashutosh Joshi, reportedly denies the allegations against the rapper and said his client plans to enter a not guilty plea.

As previously reported, Gooch was charged with a misdemeanor battery and probation violation for allegedly pushing a woman out of his vehicle on a suburban street on January 28. He was sent to DeKalb County Jail on April 8.

Prosecutors have formally charged the 31-year-old ATLien with battery, reckless conduct and disorderly conduct.

DeKalb Solicitor-General Sherry Boston denounced the rap star’s behavior, saying it “shows a willful disregard for a woman’s personal safety.”
