Eminem received the highest amount of nominations of any hip-hop artist at the recently announced Billboard Awards, snatching up 17 nods—second to only one other artist in all fields, Rihanna, who picked up 18.

Among the 17. Shady has the chance to win a trophy for Top Artist, Top Male Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artist, and of course Top Rap Artist.

Other rap artists that received multiple nominations were B.o.B, Nelly and Young Money members Nicki Minaj and Drake. Bobby Ray earned two nods in the Top Rap Song category for “Nothin’ on You” and "Airplanes;" the latter is also up for Top Digital Song. Nelly’s “Just A Dream” is also vying for Top Rap Song as well as Top Streaming Song. Ms. Minaj picked up nominations for Top New Artist and Top Rap Artist, while Drizzy was nominated for Top Male Artist, Top Radio Song Artist and also Top Rap Artist.

Em, Minaj and Drizzy are up against Lil Wayne and Ludacris in the Top Rap Artist category, and all three are also facing off against Kanye West and Weezy for Top Rap Album.
