Rappers usually aim to leave their fans breathless, but Chidera "Chiddy" Anamege of 2011 Freshman group Chiddy Bang is the one pushing physical limits today by attempting to break the Guinness World Record for longest freestyle.

Partnering with the first annual MTV O Awards in Las Vegas and taking topical suggestions on Twitter under the hashtag #rapworldrecord, Chiddy is currently in the process of trying to best Indianapolis MC M-Eighty's 2009 record of nine hours, fifteen minutes and fifteen seconds. His Chiddy Bang groupmate Xaphone Jones is mixing-up two hours of loops and classic freestyle beats such as Jay-Z's "Big Pimpin" to keep Chiddy motivated and focused.

The stunt, which is streaming live here, started at 2:30pm PST and will run until the award ceremony officially begins at 8 pm. In celebration, Chiddy Bang will release their new mixtape, Peanut Butter and Swelly, when the record-breaking attempt concludes.
