¡Mayday! Signs to Strange Music [VIDEO]

XXLMag.com has learned exclusively that Tech N9ne signed Miami hip-hop group ¡Mayday! to his Strange Music label. [Watch video above]

The crew, which consists of Wreckonize and Bernz on vocals, Plex Luthor on guitar, keys, and production, Gianni Cash on bass and keys, L.T. Hopkins on drums and Nonymous on percussion, have recorded with a handful of big acts like Cee Lo Green and Devin the Dude and worked with Lil Wayne in the past. Their music also got placements on such popular TV shows as Entourage and Lincoln Heights.

In celebration of the new deal, they will be joining the Strange Music family (Krizz Kaliko, Kutt Calhoun, Big Scoob and Jay Rock) on Tech’s upcoming All 6s and 7s tour next month.

Last year XXL was on hand when Strange signed 2010 Freshman Jay Rock to the label. —Jesse Gissen
