Waka Flocka Flame will be coming to New York for his first headlining gig in NY, later this month.

The Atanta based rapper—who was born in Queens, NY—will be rocking B.B. King Blues Club on March 23. $30 tickets for the show are currently on sale, which is set to kick off at 11:30 p.m.

New Yorkers are known for being a hard crowd to win over and are particularly tough on Southern artists. In 2009 Flocka’s associate OJ Da Juiceman infamously got booed offstage at the same club.

Yet this isn’t exactly Waka’s first time performing for a NY audience—along with 1017 Brick Squad leader Gucci Mane, the two played at last year’s annual Hot 97 Summer Jam concert.
