Nate Dogg Memorialized on Twitter

Earlier this morning (March 16) news broke that legendary rap crooner Nate Dogg passed away at the young age of 41.

Known for his signature smooth vocals, the G-Funk singer was in high demand in the 1990s and early 2000s, collaborating with a laundry list of the rap world’s biggest stars. Upon hearing of his untimely death, his friends and collaborators came out in droves to pay their respects on Twitter.

    I remember back when regulators came out and all the homies knew every word but could never sing nate doggs lines like him, they would try to hit the low notes but a 13 year old tryin to sing like nate was hopeless. I grew up on nate, he was in everything i listened to. From indo smoke to 213′s im fly to him and em’s shake that ass. For a man who’s contributed so much to hip hop in general its sad to see he never got the real recognition he deserved. I guess we all thought we had more time to make things right.
    So today im blastin all nate in the crib and the whip. You’ll always be on my playlist Nate. R.I.Paradsie brother. YAAAYEEYAAYYAYYEEYAYYEE……..SMOKE WEED EVERYDAY.

    Nate doggs songs are part of my memories growing up in the hood In the early 90′s and there after. Cruising through Bristol and through all the diffrent barrios and neighborhoods, I just get Nastalgic when I hear Nate Doggs voice on a track and it brings back alot of good and sad memories. Santa Ana love for Nate.
