Forbes magazine recently released its list of Hip-Hop’s Wealthiest Artists and Diddy earned the highest title with an estimated net worth of $475 million.

The Bad Boy rap mogul boosted his bank account with profits from his Sean John clothing line, his partnership with Ciroc vodka and of course his record label.

Coming in at a close second place is Jay-Z with $450 million, due in large part to his multi-million dollar deal with Live Nation, his 40/40 club franchise, his Rocawear clothing company and his other business ventures.

Dr. Dre snagged the third spot with a reported worth of $125 million. The good Doc’s funds saw a nice boost thanks to the success of his Beats by Dre headphone line and his signature HP computers, not to mention his Aftermath record label.

50 Cent and Birdman tied for the last two spots on the list, each boasting $100 million bank stubs. Fif picked up big checks for his movie deals, Sleek by 50 headphone line, and books, while Baby collected more cash money with help from his artists Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj and Drake.

Neither Diddy or any of the other artists on the list have commented on the Forbes list as of press time.—Elan Mancini
