Producer Black Milk will reportedly hit the studio with Jack White of The White Stripes next month.

According to pitchfork, com, Milk is set to perform at White’s Third Man Records on April 8 and then immediately after go into the lab with the musician to record a single for label of the same name, which will be co-produced by Jack.

The artists have gotten together due to a common ground that both came up in the Detroit area.

Although this is the first time that Third Man will be leaping into the hip-hop world the same can not be said for it’s founder Jack White. In an interview with GQ magazine White reveled that he had recently worked on a song with Jay-Z.

While a date has yet to be revealed for either song, Black Milk is currently gearing up for the release of his collaborative Random Axe album with Sean Price and Guilty Simpson. —Michael Naclerio
