The economy is affecting everyone, including hip-hop mogul 50 Cent who recently had to cut the hefty price tag on his Connecticut estate.

According to the Danbury News Times,Fif lowerd the sales tag of his 52-room mansion from its original $18.5 million asking price to $9,999,999.

Back in 2009, 50 already cut the price of his 50,000 square-foot crib, once owned by boxing legend Mike Tyson, by 25 percent in July 2009 to $10.9 million.

Fif’s home recently made headlines last December when two men broke in and tried to rob the Queens-bred rapper. Thery ended up getting arrested on the premises thanks to the help of a security guard on the premise. —Natalie Adeeyo
