Lil Jon owes the IRS back taxes, but who says tax troubles ever kept anyone from pursuing their dreams? Lil Jon plans to appear in the upcoming season of Donald Trump's Celebrity Apprentice.
The rapper/producer has been battling more than tax issues lately. He also had to confront doubters. In an interview with popeater.com, Jon says the other celebrities discounted him because of his rap background. "People think, 'Oh, I don't need to worry about him,' and they underestimate me because I am a rapper," Jon said. "They're not realizing I have a vast knowledge in all types of business and I am a real threat."
The IRS filed a $638,937 lien against the crunk master on June 24, 2008 with the Charleston County, South Carolina Recorder. Incidentally, this season of Celebrity Apprentice features a tax deadbeat hall of fame. Aside from Lil Jon, other Celebrity Apprentice contestants with tax issues include Star Jones, LaToya Jackson, Gary Busey, Dionne Warwick and Jose Canseco. –Henry Adaso
