Mike Bigga, formerly known as Killer Mike, will be the latest rapper to appear on MTV’s popular series, Made.
Following in the footsteps of Talib Kweli, Jean Grae, Homeboy Sandman and C-Rayz Walz, in the hour long show, Mike serves as a mentor to a high school student who has dreams of becoming an MC.
The episode, set to air later this month, finds the frequent XXLMag.com blogger introducing the young, unexperienced rhymer to such industry veterans as Big Boi and Chamillionaire.
As previously reported, Bigga is currently gearing up to release his debut LP, Pl3de, for T.I.’s Grand Hustle imprint. Scheduled to drop on March 22, the disc will feature Tip, Young Jeezy, Gucci Mane and Twista along with production by NO I.D. and The Bizness, among others.
Mike’s episode of Made will premiere on MTV on February 24 at 4 p.m. EST/ 3 p.m. Central. —Elan Mancini
